  • Deprive (someone) of understanding, judgment, or perception
  • Confuse or overawe someone with something difficult to understand
  • Cause (someone) to be unable to see, permanently or temporarily
  • The blinds are forced bets posted by players to the left of the dealer button in flop-style poker games. The number of blinds is usually two, but can be one or three.

DIY Seat Bag / Tool Roll Up

DIY Seat Bag / Tool Roll Up
I recently started carrying tools, air and tubes in a small under the saddle seatbag. The bag is a bit smaller than I liked and only held CO2, an inflator head, a Crank Bros. multi-tool and tire levers that I carry with me. I wanted to be able to bring a bit more, most notably a tube and maybe some other extras occasionally with the option to expand a bit.

I’ve been looking for a sewing project to work on again and thought about making a seat bag for myself for the above reasons but also because I wanted a more old school aesthetic.

I originally thought of a classic seat bag shape but decided on a simpler pouch type form, much like the tool bags that messenger bag makers do. I made it so that it could also be a roll-up. It’s a pretty basic pattern, added some velcro and then added the three straps to thread the toe strap that I’m using to attach the pouch/bag to the saddle rails.

I think it turned out pretty good.

Materials-wise, I picked up some sort of Cordura/nylon backed with a some kind of rubber layer (waterproofing). Picked up some velcro of course and the MKS toe strap holds it all together.

Roll up the rim to win?
I’ve been rolling up the rim for years hoping to win and so far, no luck. Maybe one day.
